I remember thinking that the wardrobe for this production was brilliant...a theatrical triumph. However, I also remember approaching Mr. Moran as he was handing out parts, declaring that I wanted to play the role of the witch - that I felt strongly that I had a firm grasp of the character and could execute dental villainy like no 4th grader before.
I landed the part of Pamela Popcorn. While you'd be surprised by how much creative exertion it takes to play a healthy snack, I must admit the dreams and aspirations of a young actress were squelched that day.
Note: Sara's performance as the witch (the actual character's name escapes me)was fantastic.:)
